About The Position

As an Inventory Manager, you’ll drive continuous improvement and ensure top-tier quality across our distribution centers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of operations management experience with a focus on inventory control.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Warehouse operations knowledge, with experience in distribution and manufacturing.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with WMS systems (Red Prairie is a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager to create and roll out exciting operational plans, including production, staffing, schedules, and MHE allocations.
  • Dive into data and forecasts to identify opportunities for process improvements and make sure the team is hitting all the best practices across the network.
  • Oversee inventory control processes and quality management practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Lead the charge on food safety, sanitation, and regulatory programs.
  • Lead the execution of audits, inspections, and compliance to customer-specific requirements.
  • Manage a team of supervisors, analysts, and clerks to ensure optimal performance and alignment with customer goals.
  • Host regular team huddles to celebrate wins, track progress, and keep everyone accountable.
  • Develop your team by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Manage labor costs and productivity data to make adjustments and achieve operational goals.
  • Implement visual management tools to monitor and communicate performance metrics.
