About The Position

The primary role of the Warehouse Lead is the overall safety of ACS personnel and property, proper receiving of all goods, and directing outgoing shipments while managing and maintaining inventory levels. This role is also responsible for the efficient load out of installers daily.
About You

You have worked in a management position in a warehousing environment and loved it. You are able to manage the day-to-day operations and the people that are on your team. You believe in over communicating with Leadership to make sure expectations are being met
You enjoy tidying up after jobs and take pride in how your area looks. You have a strong sense of integrity and don’t turn a blind eye when things need to be done the right way
You value safety over “quickness” when working in a Warehouse. Rolling up your sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty is your thing and are always looking for the next job to accomplish for the day
Working independently from time to time does not intimidate you

Requirements

• Organized and like everyone to keep things as such
• A team-player that is ready to SAY YES and are not afraid of challenges
• An early bird (this position starts at 6am)
• Work well with executive management and know when to ask for help

Nice To Haves

• Worked in a warehouse (and loved it)
• Know how to operate a forklift and currently have certification
• Have an understanding of how to use a computer and are able to do basic entries

Responsibilities

• Oversee the load out of installers, incoming and outgoing shipments along with preparing items for shipment
• Oversee the maintenance of the Warehouse and surrounding property
• Manage material tracking in our ACS system to ensure inventory accuracy
• Become knowledgeable of the warehouse layout and will sort carpets, materials or items on racks, shelves according to ACS specifications
• Responsible for any additional materials or orders that need to be driven to the Customers home or a THD store with the use of a Company vehicle
