The Warehouse Lead is responsible for pulling assigned materials for each project, receiving incoming shipments, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, loading vehicles, delivering and picking up job supplies as needed, and assisting the Purchasing and Inventory Department with maintaining accurate inventory counts. The Warehouse Lead serves as the Subject Matter Expert for Warehouse Operations at their branch.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is required
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift/move up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Basic computer literacy and experience with digital inventory tracking
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A sharp eye for detail and the ability to spot shipping errors before they leave the dock
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License in the state of employment and a clean driving record (driving is an essential function of this position)
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator Certification

Responsibilities

  • Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and inspect goods for any damages or discrepancies.
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards
  • Inventory Management: Assist with regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain high data integrity
  • Data Entry: Utilize Warehouse management Systems (WMS) or ERP software to log incoming/outgoing stock and update order statuses
  • Equipment Operation: Safety operate warehouse machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks) to move heavy materials.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
