Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks and pickers.
  • Experience driving a forklift.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including email.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Careful attention to detail and timely follow-through.
  • Intermediate level computer skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, and the ability to learn and navigate Syteline using UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS shipping software.
  • Able to lift 35-45 pounds repetitively.
  • Must have a valid CA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
  • Receive and put up weekly inbound inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts as directed.
  • Arrange freight carriers as needed.
  • Maintain warehouse organization following 5S, maintenance, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Complete RMA processing.
  • Process marine inventory and shipments.
  • Apply Ad Hoc material handling for managing items such as, sales show materials, vendor transfers, quality alerts - sort & return, weekly transfer receipts and reconciliation etc.
  • Interact with customers by responding timely and professionally to order inquiries, creating order entries (as a backup), and providing friendly phone support.
  • Comply with all procedures and safety programs.
  • Understand and practice Quality System requirements and documentation (i.e., applicable inspection, verification, and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process).
