About The Position

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting and coordinating daily warehouse operations within the EventWorks full-service event rental environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, inventory control, equipment handling, and overall warehouse organization, while providing direction and support to Warehouse Associates. The Warehouse Lead will also be cross-trained to provide backup support for the Linen and Dish Departments as business needs require. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, leadership capability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds consistently
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull for extended periods of time
Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights
Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or event-related environment preferred
Experience with inventory control or shipping/receiving is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

Lead daily warehouse operations, including pulling, picking, staging, and verifying rental orders
Assign tasks and provide direction to Warehouse Associates to ensure productivity and accuracy
Verify order accuracy and ensure all items meet quality and cleanliness standards prior to dispatch
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and secure transport of rental items
Assist with and oversee inventory control, including counting, restocking, labeling, and resolving discrepancies
Inspect rental items for quality and cleanliness prior to staging or returning to inventory
Train, coach, and support team members on warehouse processes, safety procedures, and best practices
Clean, organize, and maintain warehouse areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
Operate warehouse equipment (such as pallet jacks and carts) in accordance with safety guidelines
Cross-train and provide support in Linen and Dish Departments, including sorting, counting, and preparing items for distribution
Monitor workflow and adjust priorities as needed to meet operational demands
Follow proper material handling techniques to prevent damage to rental inventory
Adhere to company safety standards and ensure team compliance with PPE and safety practices
Serve as a point of contact for warehouse-related questions and escalate issues to management as needed
Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and management
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs
