About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee operations at a high-volume distribution facility in Salt Lake City, UT. This leadership role is responsible for managing warehouse logistics, inventory control, safety, personnel, and operational performance while ensuring efficient product flow and exceptional service. What You'll Do As Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead daily operations and ensure the facility runs safely, efficiently, and profitably. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing warehouse operations including logistics, inventory management, and transportation Managing and developing supervisors , drivers, material handlers, and office staff Monitoring warehouse performance metrics and operational effectiveness Ensuring workplace safety compliance and facility security Planning staffing levels, schedules, and workflow to meet operational demands Leading safety initiatives, incident investigations, and monthly safety meetings Maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners Collaborating with Sales and leadership teams to meet customer needs Managing warehouse budgets, operational expenses, and capital planning Leading process improvements, strategic initiatives, and operational projects Overseeing equipment, vehicle, and facility maintenance Supporting hiring, training, and performance management of warehouse staff What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Business with 2+ years warehouse/operations leadership experience OR 6+ years of warehouse or operations experience Proven leadership in warehouse or distribution operations Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and material handling Experience with budgeting, shipping requirements, and operational reporting Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) Ability to build strong customer, vendor, and team relationships Valid driver’s license with good driving record Willingness to travel as needed Why Join Us? The position requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of products up to approximately 80 lbs, as well as working around warehouse equipment and varying weather conditions. IND2

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with 2+ years warehouse/operations leadership experience OR 6+ years of warehouse or operations experience
  • Proven leadership in warehouse or distribution operations
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and material handling
