About The Position

Tate's Bake Shop is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join the team at their distribution center in Shirley, NY! Job Duties: Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork. Storing and rotating inventory according to established procedures. Maintaining an accurate record of all merchandise received and distributed. Strategically storing product to maximize warehouse storage space. Promptly processing work orders or requests. Responsible for safe operation of PIVs and adhering to all licensing process and regulations. Report damaged or missing goods to management. Assist in keeping warehouse environment clean and organized and maintaining equipment. Responsible for all applicable Company procedures and policies, including Mondelez Quality Policies. Responsible to ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, New York State and other regulatory requirements, to assure food safety & quality. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
1+ year experience in a similar role highly preferred.
Basic mathematical skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as warehouse management software.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain focus while performing a task.
Must be able to work around moving equipment.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to wear safety toe shoes for entire shift.
Must be able to stand during entire work shift of 7+ hours (not including rest and meal periods).
Ability to communicate in English or Spanish and possess basic reading and writing skills to effectively understand and complete work-related documents, safety protocols, and instructions.

Nice To Haves

Forklift license preferred, not required.
