About The Position

Maintain, retrieve, inventory and deliver various items needed for the day to day operations of the casino and hotel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license with not more than 3 or more moving violations or traffic citations in the past 3 years required
  • Six months previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
  • Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use all type of warehouse equipment including fork-lift and pallet jack
  • Excellent attendance record in previous positions
  • Willing to learn and to be adaptable
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
  • Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds
  • Must be able to operate in stressful situations
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, kneel, twist and grip items, reach with the body, arms, and/or legs
  • Must be able to have continuous use of hands and arms
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must be able to be on feet for an 8 hour shift
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
  • Inspect deliveries from vendors and accurately record the receivers in JD Edwards to ensure proper payment
  • Work with delivery people to return items not us to standards
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification , and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities
  • Examine and inspect items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor
  • Ensure FIFO methodology as a basis for inventory transfers and storage on a daily basis
  • Print requisitions from JD Edwards and accurately pull inventory and deliver to department
  • Count inventory to insure accuracy
  • Log in overnight package deliveries
  • Maintain reports and records as required
  • Verify inventory reports computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, supply room or other areas
  • Clean and maintain storage areas, supplies, tools and equipment to maintain high standards for both cleanliness and safety
  • Comply with U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol testing programs established for safety-sensitive positions
  • Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
  • Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
