About The Position

Northern Haserot is looking for a 2 nd shift Porter to add to their Sanitation team. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This position requires a proactive individual who is attentive to detail and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and service in accordance with FDA/ODA standards.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience in an industrial or warehouse setting.
• Ability to work in the freezer areas for extended amounts of time.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to be a self-starter.
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift (75 pounds) throughout an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep aisleways clear of all debris and spills.
• Properly treat any spills whether it is dry or wet.
• Gather all damages and allocate to proper designated area.
• Monitor and keep all trash cans emptied throughout the shift.
• Operate trash compactor when disposing of the trash.
• Wipe down all guard rails, door handles and other frequently touched surfaces.
• Safely operate single ride on pallet jack.
• Maintain cleanliness of employee breakroom in the warehouse.
• Other routine daily cleaning and sanitation duties as needed.
