About The Position

The Warehouse Receiving Manager’s objective is to organize, monitor, and maintain inventory for all bagged product. This is a highly responsible production position that requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the successful candidate must be sensitive to customer needs, corporate goals, team member goodwill, and the public image.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for warehouse receiving operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant receipt of goods
  • Schedule and track inbound appointments, warehouse transfers, plant transfers, and shuttle movements
  • Monitor arrival/departure times, maintain ASN accuracy, manage documentation, and resolve receiving discrepancies
  • Oversee safe and efficient movement, staging, inspection, and counting of ingredients and bagged products
  • Supervise daily receiving operations, ensuring productivity, safety, cleanliness, and equipment care
  • Escalate operational issues and risks to leadership as needed
  • Communicate and update information across warehouse management systems and internal departments (Purchasing, Inventory, Production)
  • Implement and lead process improvements to increase receiving accuracy, speed, and workflow efficiency
  • Manage, coach, and evaluate team performance, including scheduling, timekeeping, attendance, and disciplinary actions
  • Communicate safety protocols, goals, and operational updates to the team
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse software tools including Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, SharePoint, Körber, Sage, OpenDock, Teams, Outlook, ADP, and Payclock
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Maintain accurate inventory of bagged products
