This role works closely with drivers, warehouse personnel, and management to ensure accurate inventory records, regulatory compliance, and a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability and willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Windows and Windows-based applications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with both customers and coworkers
  • Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and move boxes and bags weighing up to 80 pounds
  • Willingness to operate material handling equipment
  • Ability to work extended hours and rotating Saturday shifts during peak season
  • Commitment to working in a drug-free workplace

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory flow, ensuring all product movement is properly documented
  • Perform stocking, picking, and retrieval of warehouse items
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks
  • Support drivers and warehouse personnel with daily operational needs
  • Conduct weekly inventory counts in partnership with the Warehouse Manager
  • Identify and take action on aged or damaged inventory
  • Complete Hazardous Material shipping documentation and ensure compliance
  • Train drivers, warehouse staff, and customers on transportation and safety regulations
  • Maintain warehouse safety standards, including signage and housekeeping
  • Meet all WECO regulatory safety and training requirements, including physical exams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations
