Qualifications General Position Summary The position of the Warehouse Scheduler is to manage and maintain a balanced warehouse schedule to given capacities and inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and be a self-starter-forward thinker
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of administrative processes
  • Ability to work independently
  • 3-5 years’ work experience, preferably in the area of scheduling
  • Previous Warehouse Experience
  • Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
  • Proficient in Excel and Office Suite, Advanced Excel a plus
  • Oracle Experience required
  • MRP Experience in the Oracle environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review open orders report on a daily basis for new customer demand
  • Build Assembly/Upholstery/Spare Parts, workorders/schedules
  • Calculate routing times for assembly / build activities to properly plan resource levels
  • Develop daily workload for warehouse including generating work orders for jobs
  • Work closely with purchasing and quality on product requirements and receiving schedules and create work orders based on demand
  • Work with Account Coordinator team to manage logistics and shipments direct out of the warehouse
  • Hands on management of any critical ( time / quality) sensitive orders to completion
  • Work closely with shipment team to match open SO’s requiring assembly or special handling to available resources
  • Communicate lead time for assembly related activities back to Account Coordinators/Sales as needed.
  • Review daily allocation for customer orders (-XX report, Backorders, etc...)
  • Attend weekly coordination meetings with Account Coordinators, Logistics, and sales (KA meeting, Assembly/Upholstery meeting, etc...)
  • Ensure weekly SSD dates are met and that all equipment & accessories are ready prior to scheduled ship date.
  • Be a primary contact for the Account Coordinators and Service groups for all custom orders
  • Support quality, purchasing and supply management with tracking of product non-conformances, rework activities, and quality control processes
  • Execute any and all necessary requirements for proper conversion / re-class of goods to meet custom order demand.
  • Manage the QC Assembly sub-inventory location to ensure proper materials are debited upon work order completion
  • Escalates work order component shortages to Purchasing and Management
