Requirements

Ability to lift objects weighing 50 pounds
Ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for a long period of time
Ability to frequently bend, side bend and twist the back
Ability to do occasional neck flexions and twisting while sitting, standing, or squatting
Ability to read or write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
The successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period.

Responsibilities

Performs the day-to-day operations of the shipping Department
Retrieves all totes according to shipping paperwork, checks off tote ID number and checks for quality and accuracy
Packages items according to company standards
Loads the UPS trailer throughout the day
Properly labels items
Makes sure items are shipped on time
Follows special instructions on orders
Ensures all tote ID numbers match before beginning shipping process
Maintain a clean and organized workspace at the end of the day.
