About The Position

As a Warehouse Shipping Associate, you will handle multiple tasks and responsibilities when it comes to, packaging and shipping solutions, loading and unloading trucks and receiving and checking inventory. Quality control checking of raw goods and material. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on person with a very high standard of attention to detail who is able to help wherever needed. Having experience with a forklift is preferred but applicant can be trained onsite.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse associate/shipping position, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
High school education or GED
1 year experience with forklift is required
Literacy in computer systems (Word, Excel, ERP systems, etc.) p referred

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Epicor ERP

Responsibilities

Notify Team Lead or Supervisor when shipping materials are needed such as boxes, pallets, shrink wrap, etc.
Load and unload trucks with materials and supplies.
Package orders to prevent shipping damage.
Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers.
Assist Supervisor and Team Lead with scheduling and general office administration.
Load and package items onto pallets, label, strap and wrap for shipping.
Replenish out-of-stock items to specific orders.
Issue packing slips through ERP system.
Notify Team Lead or Supervisor of any updates and/or issues pertaining to orders/shipments.
Notify Team Lead or Supervisor of any quality issues.
Take shipping photos according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and enter them into the ERP system
Audit orders before leaving the facility to ensure all items are accounted for.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures & 5S principles.
Drive continuous improvements for parts area.
Clean work area and remove trash daily.
