The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for operating an order-picker to retrieve and ship stocked merchandise to fulfill customer orders that are shipped via various freight line carriers. This shift is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and operate ERP system.
- Ability to operate and complete a tow motor, order-picker, and pallet jack certifications.
- Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs; ability to pull 2200 lbs using a pallet jack and pull or push 200 lbs using a two-wheeler.
- Ability to stand and be in motion at all times. Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip and lift merchandise.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities
- Operate an order-picker to retrieve stock
- Prepare orders for shipping
- Stack and wrap merchandise on pallets.
- Check the packing list against the merchandise for accuracy.
- Inspect merchandise for damage.
- Load palletized merchandise on various freight line carriers’ trucks.
- Manage shipping vendor returns.
- Maintain records of outbound shipments
- Frequently inspect material handling equipment to report any mechanical issues.
