Working at the Fort Bragg Central Issue Facility (CIF), the Warehouse Specialist with Commercial Driver’s License (WHS w/CDL) for a variety of warehousing duties included, but not limited to, verifying materials or merchandise against receiving documents; receives, stores, stacks, or palletizes materials, and removes material from storage and prepares it for shipping. In addition, the WHS w/CDL will perform truck driver duties to include transporting loading and unloading CIF equipment as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid REAL ID Class "A" Driver's License (CDL) with no restrictions to include current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Four (4) years or more experience in warehouse operations.
Four (4) years or more experience in driving and operating forklifts.
Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.
Valid Driver’s License without restrictions.
Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.
Other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.

Responsibilities

Verifies material and merchandise against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
Routes material and equipment to prescribed storage locations.
Properly stores, stacks or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Rearranges as necessary and takes inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
Establishes and maintains stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports.
Assists in taking inventories through physical count and records item count on inventory documents.
Operating and maintaining forklifts and MHE related equipment.
May operate hand or power tools in performance of warehousing duties.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
