About The Position

Overview: This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely receiving, processing, and stocking of materials and returned products for all company departments. May be required to assist other employees as a helper in key areas of the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, and have a solid understanding of warehouse operations
  • Familiar with inventory control systems, Kanban, JIT, FIFO.
  • Familiar with receiving practices.
  • Using a pallet jack and a stand-up lift to move pallets of materials.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing principles and practices to meet quality standards for services.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on part number verification and transaction integrity.

  • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Electric Mirror; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
  • High school graduate/GED.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating on either standup or seated forklifts
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs.; anything over 50 lbs. is to be assisted.
  • Be on your feet 8-10 hours per day.
  • Must demonstrate good hand/eye coordination; Must demonstrate good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Receive all products for OS and domestic supplies
  • Receive direct and indirect material.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked in the warehouse.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.
  • Maintain indirect supplies, direct materials, and finished goods in the warehouse.
  • Mark stock items using ID tags, stamps, or other labeling devices.
  • Pull direct material from approved warehouse inventory for production and material cost transfers.
  • Perform transactions in the computer system; Perform job order entries.
  • Assist in the RMA process by processing returns and preparing products for resale
  • Use forklifts or pallet jacks to move material as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
