This role focuses on the inbound/outbound section of the warehouse: gathering the parts and products to be used in the scheduled surgery cases. First, you will train on multiple different product lines to learn all of the parts in the warehouse. Once you are fully trained and knowledgeable of all the parts and products in the warehouse, you will inspect products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages. Communication with the team on a regular basis is crucial to the success of this role. You will interact with the team during service level investigations. Maintaining warehouse organization is imperative to avoid product errors. You will use the computer and different programs to track and maintain accurate inventory counts and records and for shipment of inventory. You will support management in preparation for branch audits of all inventory parts and products. You will be picking parts and products from the inventory in the warehouse and building kits and bins that are needed to be delivered to the hospital for immediate or next-day surgeries. These parts include implants and surgical instruments used in the different orthopedic and trauma surgeries.
