Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree required
Valid driver license with good driving record
Computer literate
Knowledge of shipping programs required.
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.

Responsibilities

Efficiently receives and distributes materials.
Efficiently picks and packs customer orders for shipment, while ensuring on time deliveries.
Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Conducts operations in compliance with Inland safety policy.
Transports orders to delivery and shipping locations with material handling equipment.
Inspects and performs minor maintenance on equipment. Conducts physical inventories as required.
Ensures correct quantity and product is loaded, shipped, or received.
Repacks and weighs any orders that require such handling.
Records appropriate data in ERP system.
Contacts and coordinates freight pick up with vendors.
Supports and communicates with Sales and Operations as to the status of their job completion.
Maintains and orders additional shipping supplies.
Meets standards for productivity and supports new process and procedures for increased productivity levels.
Is trained and follows all Inland policies while working with hazardous waste.
