About The Position

The Aviation Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for the packing and shipping of orders. Processing of those orders using the companys computer system, inspection of inbound and outbound products and performing physical inventory counts. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the general upkeep of the warehouse, operation of forklifts, and scissor lifts and various other warehousing duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Able to work in a team environment.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within an aviation parts warehousing environment.
Familiar with various aviation industry terms, parts paperwork, handling practices and other aviation specific details.
Be proficient in Windows based computer systems.
Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

Receive, unpack, and process inbound aircraft parts and related products.
Pick, pack, inspect, and ship outbound aircraft parts (international & domestic) and related products, including dangerous goods.
Operate forklift and scissor lift or other indoor motorized and non-motorized warehouse equipment.
Participate in recurring on call schedules for after-hours product shipping.
Organize and maintain warehouse layout for efficiency and safety.
Communicate with internal teams regarding order status/issues.
Ensure a high level of accuracy for all data entry and computer work.
Perform inventory audits based on instruction and information provided.
Ensure stock of boxes and packing material stay at recommended levels.
Assist in onboarding and training new warehouse staff
