Warehouse Specialist (Heavy-Duty Logistics)
About The Position
KLS Workforce Solutions is seeking two (2) physically fit and dependable Warehouse Specialists for a specialized, high-intensity logistics project in the Atlanta area. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work ethic and have the stamina for high-volume, heavy-duty material handling. While this specific immediate need is for a one-day assignment (Wednesday, March 25th), there is potential for long-term temporary opportunities for candidates who demonstrate exceptional reliability and performance. You will be working alongside a professional service team to facilitate a large-scale battery replacement project.
Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid Government-issued ID or Driver’s License.
- Background: Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to consistently lift and carry 80+ lbs throughout the shift.
- PPE: Must provide and wear your own steel-toe boots.
- Compliance: Strict "No Drug Paraphernalia" policy for site access; must be able to follow all OSHA and site safety standards.
- Professionalism: Standard work attire is required (clean black T-shirt and jeans).
Responsibilities
- High-Volume Material Handling: Safely moving 160+ VRLA units weighing approximately 80–90 lbs each.
- Installation Support: Moving units from pallets to equipment and decommissioning old units back to pallets.
- Secure Palletizing: Professionally stacking and shrink-wrapping removed inventory to ensure it is road-ready for transport.
- Safety Adherence: Strict compliance with two-person team-lift protocols for all loads exceeding 51 lbs.
