About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily execution of inventory, fulfillment, and shipping operations for all inventory items in Ruby Jewel’s possession, both on-site and at third-party storage facilities. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, timely fulfillment of wholesale orders, and effective coordination with third-party freight carriers. This is a hands-on supervisory role that works closely with the Director of Operations and cross-functional partners to maintain efficient, well-organized warehouse operations. The Warehouse Supervisor is a hybrid office and warehouse position, balancing administrative tasks with regular floor presence to support daily workflows and resolve issues in real time. This role provides direct supervision of a Warehouse Associate and supports consistent execution of warehouse and shipping processes. Requirements

  • At least three years of warehouse experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain valid Forklift Certification.
  • A valid Driver’s License and the ability to drive an 18’ refrigerated box truck.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure completion of job duties.
  • Ability to prioritize competing objectives.
  • Ability to learn and utilize a variety of warehouse and inventory management digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization, management, and integrity of all products and supplies at the Sandwich City warehouse:
  • Coordinate receiving of raw materials and packaging to be used in production.
  • Responsible for making sure all materials are received in good condition.
  • Manage the entry of raw materials into Fishbowl as products are received.
  • Coordinates the movement of raw materials to and from production.
  • Coordinates the movement of finished goods with customers:
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Associate to ensure all orders are built, palletized & documented correctly.
  • Communicate with distributors and carriers to confirm order availability and shipping schedules.
  • Preparation of all shipping documents including, but not limited to, labels, packing lists, commercials invoices and all necessary customs paperwork.
  • Ensure on-time shipment of all grocery and wholesale orders.
  • Collaborate with accounting and production teams to maintain and improve upon the inventory database and inventory systems, including periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Coordinate shipments with pre-approved third-party carriers.
  • Communicate all delivery delays and exceptions to necessary internal teams.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party logistics and warehousing relationships to ensure effective and safe handling of Ruby Jewel products at off-site storage locations.
  • Provide regular communication with the Customer Service team to ensure accurate updates concerning inventory and shipment schedules are relayed to the Sales Department.
  • Assists the Sales Team with the shipment of all product samples and sales support materials.
