In this role you will be responsible for managing a Team of Warehouse Associates and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department. You will ensure the receiving, storage and restocking of products from suppliers and other sources.

Requirements

Associate degree in Business or similar discipline required.
At least 2 years of experience in distribution required.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with State laws.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
Supervises Warehouse Lead Workers or Warehouse Workers to ensure timely reports of products billed to retailers, but not shipped, to insure timely preparation of credit memos.
Reports on building security, vehicle security and warehouse loading productivity.
Assist Warehouse Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
Schedules and oversees warehouse staff.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed.
Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
Resolves routine equipment issues.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
