Our Core Values: Passion, respect, trust, entrepreneurship, and humility The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and activities at the company's external warehouse facility along with warehouse team at the production site. The warehouse supervisor will interact with other key members of the Supply Chain team including Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Planner, Customer Service Team. The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, unless operational needs require otherwise.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a food warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems, Microsoft Office Suite Products, and ability to learn new computer systems quickly.
  • Must be customer service oriented and skilled in positively resolving customer concerns.
  • Needs to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and coordinate with both warehouse and production teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively across departmental teams.
  • Certification on numerous types of forklifts and fork trucks required (or must be willing to obtain within 90 days of employment).

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Lesaffre's safety-first culture by strictly following all safety protocols and participating in required safety programs
  • Act as an advocate for safety at the external warehouse by promoting completion of safety observations and required training, and ensuring tasks are completed safely and all procedures and requirements are followed
  • Enforce safety, food safety, and company policies and regulations; addressing any disciplinary issues in collaboration with Supply Chain Manager
  • Ensure effective utilization of warehouse areas and observe proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of finished, raw, and packaging materials to prevent damage, accidents, and safety hazards
  • Determine staffing levels and assign duties and workload and ensure proper coverage at both sites during sick leave, holidays, and vacations
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance concerns in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate KPI’s for warehouse operations, report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees
  • Maintain highest level of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, shipping, and assuring quality of the shipments
  • Lead investigations and resolution related to internal and external discrepancies and concerns
  • Ensure accuracy of product inventories against system records by conducting annual inventories and cycle counts on a periodic basis, as required
  • Maintain all required warehouse documents for BRC and understand and comply with all appropriate BRC standards. Ensure also that all warehouse employees comply with all established BRC procedures for warehousing, transportation, sanitation, food safety, etc.
  • Update and maintain procedures and documentation for all warehouse operations
  • Key User (KU) and Business Process Owner (BPO) for WM Module in SAP
  • Manage non-inventory items and send requests for replenishment as needed
  • Operate numerous types of forklifts and fork trucks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
