About The Position

The IT Production Technician – Audit is responsible for the final evaluation and processing of marketable IT assets to include Notebooks, Systems, and Monitors. This role focuses on testing, grading, and data eradication to ensure equipment meets resale standards. The technician plays a critical role in quality assurance and works collaboratively within the Audit team to support EPC’s secure and compliant asset disposition processes

Requirements

  • Basic math skills to count IT equipment with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to use internal systems and handheld devices (e.g., barcode scanners) to locate and collect inventory
  • Working knowledge of common warehouse equipment and tools, including material handling and packaging equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, protective packaging systems).
  • Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, clean, and track electronics that can be reused or resold.
  • Safe transport, load, and unload computer hardware and materials using hand carts, pallet jacks, while adhering to equipment safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and resolving discrepancies
  • Efficiently pull IT equipment, verify accuracy, and scan items to create stock transfers and bills of lading
  • Organize items in designated storage locations, update inventory records, and communicate any stock discrepancies to the appropriate personnel
  • Follow shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, work orders, and both written and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately
  • Perform various warehouse duties across all areas as needed or as assigned by the department
