About The Position

We’re currently looking for a Warehouse Team Lead Associate to help keep our retail and warehouse operations running smoothly. The Warehouse Team Lead Associate supports daily warehouse operations while helping guide and motivate the team. This role oversees and assists with order picking, receiving, inventory control, stocking, and delivery of retail merchandise and materials across LEGOLAND New York Resort.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings during the operating season
  • 6+ months of warehouse experience preferred
  • Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Comfortable using computers and warehouse systems
  • Team-focused mindset with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate others
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
  • Work at various heights with proper safety training
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • 5 days per week, up to 40 hours
  • Overtime potential
  • Warehouse shifts may start as early as 3:30 AM and end as late as 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload delivery vehicles (vans, trucks, containers)
  • Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, ladders, and order pickers
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and pack slips
  • Record shipments accurately in tracking systems
  • Report shipment discrepancies to management
  • Pick and process orders accurately and on time
  • Complete pick sheets and related paperwork
  • Build pallets following safety and transport procedures
  • Close out orders in warehouse systems
  • Report errors or issues promptly
  • Rotate stock based on shelf life and expiration dates
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification
  • Maintain accurate bin locations and product records
  • Report inventory discrepancies to leadership
  • Follow all warehouse safety and compliance standards
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASTM, NEC, NSF, and applicable state/local codes
  • Provide feedback on safety or operational concerns
