In this role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of associates, managing inventory activities, and ensuring that safety, accuracy, and efficiency are maintained across warehouse functions. Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Illuminate USA is seeking highly motivated team members to help the company grow from startup to a full scale, industry leading manufacturer with $1B - $2B expected annual revenue and over 1,200 employees in less than two years. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience, including time in a leadership or team support role
  • Familiarity with warehouse systems (WMS), inventory practices, and safety procedures
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a physically active, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of warehouse associates to ensure daily tasks are completed safely and efficiently
  • Monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate documentation using warehouse systems
  • Support receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping operations
  • Maintain proper product rotation (FIFO) and organization within the warehouse
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and investigations into discrepancies
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members on warehouse procedures and safety practices
  • Coordinate closely with supervisors and other departments to maintain smooth warehouse operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across warehouse processes
  • Help ensure timely staging and availability of materials for production needs
  • Promote a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment
