About The Position

The basic function of the Warehouse Team Member is to facilitate warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, rotation, and storage of finished goods, product ingredients, and product components. This involves knowledge of production, shipping, and receiving orders. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
1-2 years of warehouse experience and general knowledge of warehouse operations
Knowledge of proper rotation techniques of perishable food items
Ability to operate a forklift or other necessary equipment to facilitate shipping, and storage duties
Ability to accurately count inventory items, recognize safe working habits, and work effectively with others in the organization
Good computer skills
Attention to Detail
Safety & Cleanliness
Team Player

Nice To Haves

3-5 years of previous warehouse experience
Previous forklift certification
Bar coding and good computer experience

Responsibilities

Ensuring that products are properly stored and rotated in the warehouse
Verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments
Pulling raw materials and accurately moving them to and from the pre-batch area
Physically moving materials and making bin movements in the computer system
Moving products and supplies safely around the warehouse, paying close attention to people, products, “traffic lanes,” and moving vehicles
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Demonstrating a positive attitude and consideration towards fellow employees
Cooperating and communicating well with co-workers and strives to promote positive teamwork and build team spirit
