Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
1-3 years + Experience in warehousing
Basic math skills are needed for business calculations
Computer skills required for data entry and reporting
Understanding written statements in work-related documents
Proficient in the operation of a forklift
Proficient in communicating with colleagues and in creating a team working environment.
Current health, safety & environmental (HSE) training as per division training matrix (Includes both regulatory and SES required courses).
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe operations
Ethical business practices
Applicable PPE required to complete assigned tasks
Ability to recognize a problem and communicate it to a supervisor
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, according to applicable procedures and/or work order
Commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals
Organize tasks and responsibilities in a manner that maintains production output standards
Perform routine inventory cycle counts according to the standard operating procedure
Read, interpret, and work from drawings, schematics, diagrams, sketches, or specifications

Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Applicable PPE required to complete assigned tasks
Sitting - for extended periods without being able to leave the work area.
Standing - for extended periods without being able to leave the work area.
Climbing - ladders, scaffolding, work in overhead areas, etc.
Walking - considerable distances, please indicate.
Lifting - Up to 50 Lbs. minimum & on an occasional basis.
Pulling and/or pushing – on a frequent basis
Carrying - regularly carries objects in his/her arms or on the shoulder(s)
Grasping - regularly picks up objects with fingers.
Reaching - regularly required to use hands and arms to reach objects.
Stooping / Crouching – regularly required to bend forward by bending at the waist or by bending legs and spine
Crawling - required to work in confined spaces, crawl, and move about on hands and knees

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
Forklift certification is also a plus.

Responsibilities

Material Handling - Receiving, unloading, and storing parts and products in an organized manner within the warehouse.
Storing parts in their designated locations in the inventory area.
Inventory Management- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking, stocking, and conducting regular cycle counts. Ensure that all finished products are used in a rotation, following the First In, First Out (FIFO) principle.
Order Picking and Packing- Selecting items from stock to fulfill customer orders and prepare them to be issued to the assembly shop.
Scanning completed documentation into the Company database.
Quality Control- Provide outstanding service to our customers. Inspecting products to ensure they are not damaged, defective, or have any other discrepancies. Any issues are to be reported to the Quality department.
Equipment and Operation- Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Perform daily inspections on forklifts, cranes,s and various other material-handling equipment.
Documentation- Maintain proper documentation on all orders, shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions. Scanning completed work orders into the company database.
Safety - Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Participate in the company's Sharp Card Program. Report any injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to a Manager or Safety Coordinator immediately.
Cleaning and Maintenance- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, and performing routine inspections on material handling equipment. (Forklift, crane, etc.)
Teamwork- Collaborate with coworkers to meet productivity goals and ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Adhere to on-call/off-call work schedule, being available on short notice around the clock and on-call week.
