About The Position

The position involves working in and outside the warehouse handling materials, supplies, and inventory. The employee will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment between sites.

Requirements

• Possess and maintain a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Driving record must meet employer’s insurance carrier standards.
• Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Three years’ experience operating a vehicle requiring CDL.
• High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver materials, equipment, and supplies in and around the local area.
• Load and unload vehicle with or without helpers, using forklifts, power jacks, and/or hand trucks.
• Pack and crate items for shipment.
• Perform other job-related work.
