About The Position

About the Role: The Warehouseman is responsible for the safe and efficient preparation, staging, loading and unloading of trucks for the shipping and receiving of product and raw materials. Proper and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload trucks for shipment of finished product or the receipt of raw materials and packaging materials for production. Takes picking orders from Supervisor or Lead and picks goods for shipment to customers. Verify accuracy of all shipments to customers. Uses scanner to put away, pick, load and perform cycle using electronic inventory equipment (iMake) Correctly completes all required paperwork. Ensure that all trucks are loaded and unloaded safely and correctly. Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read and write in English and perform routine math equations.
• Can work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Job requires the ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per day.
• Routinely pushes/pulls up to 100 pounds from waist to chest level and uses a pallet jack to lift 75-125 pounds.
• Must be able to routinely get on and off the forklift, pull a pallet jack and bend and lift as needed to pick materials from the warehouse racks.
