Warehousing Manager II - Logistics (Finney County Freezer)
About The Position
This position is responsible for all operations of a Tyson Foods owned Logistics/Distribution facility. This includes managing assets such as Human Resources, Inventory, Plant Property and Equipment. Specific responsibilities include providing business planning such as budgets, goals and projections, providing recommendations for improvements in operations, providing training for future Tyson Managers, and other administrative duties as required. Other responsibilities include keeping the Director of Warehousing informed on all aspects of the operations within the plant and coordinating with other Tyson facilities in order to provide the best quality service to our customers. Other duties may include analyzing and forecasting manpower and equipment needs for the facility, devising operational plans to increase cost savings, and performing other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 6 plus yrs of management warehousing and distribution experience is a plus.
- Requires standard computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- This position is responsible for managing several groups of personnel who perform diverse tasks and activities in more than one department.
- 6-11 trips yr.
