About The Position

Under the direct supervision of department supervisor in a manufacturing environment an individual in the warehouse department receives, stores, and distributes material and products within the warehouse and production areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. Shipping individuals prepare and package final products to ship to the customer. Previous experience is preferred, but not required, we will train the right candidate.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents.
Ability to effectively communicate and work well with coworkers.
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a changing environment
Must be able to read a tape measure and any other necessary measuring devices.
Must be able to successfully complete the Physical Capacity Profile (PCP) to required standard
Must be able to successfully complete a Pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Comprehend and follow checklists, work orders and material request orders.
Understand/follow the flow of the department including Kanbon, receiving and line cart processes.
Unload trucks, check in material and store or distribute material appropriately. (if approved)
Move material and items from warehouse to production line/areas as required.
Conduct all work in a safe manner, including work on and around a forklift, pallet mover, step stool and staircase
Maintain housekeeping and 6s of area
Follow all Aluma Safety and Company policies and procedures including the use of all required PPE.
Maintain all Aluma quality standards including recognizing parts issues and defects so they can be corrected.
Assist in training new employees
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
