Kleinfelder is seeking a Project Manager to support our growing water resources team in Pennsylvania and neighboring states. In this role, you’ll help expand client relationships with both private and public sector water/wastewater clients, as well as other local partners and stakeholders. This position is available in the Mechanicsburg, PA office.

Requirements

  • BS in Environmental Engineering or other natural sciences is preferred.
  • 7+ years of Water/Wastewater project experience including design and project management, plus 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and grow teams.
  • Professional demeanor suitable to represent the company in all settings.
  • Established professional relationships with key regional clients and partners in the water/wastewater market.
  • Experience driving long-range business planning and leading high-stakes strategic initiatives from concept through delivery.
  • Proven ability to deliver results on challenging projects.
  • Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

  • Work with existing Kleinfelder staff to support water/wastewater pursuits and build a strong project backlog.
  • Develop and execute a long-term growth strategy for the practice, including near-and long-term plans aligned with key client initiatives.
  • Provide oversight and training for the team, making sure the right people are engaged and the right clients and projects are prioritized.
  • Use the established backlog to build the team and develop an organizational chart to support Divisional water/wastewater needs.
  • Serve as Project Manager and lead collaboration during the early phases of team development.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients to ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain standards, processes, and procedures that support high project quality and achieve targeted profitability.
