Requirements

• A Natural Swimmer : You must be a capable swimmer who loves the water and can stay focused for long periods.
• Lifeguard Certification : You must have a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
• Safety-Conscious : You're always looking out for others, making sure everything runs smoothly and everyone stays safe.
• Professional & Friendly : A calm, friendly demeanor that helps keep guests feeling safe and comfortable, while also being able to handle any emergency with poise.
• On Your Feet : Be prepared to stand for long periods of time, maintaining your focus and attention on your area.
• Outdoor Enthusiast : You're cool with working in all kinds of weather-sun, rain, or shine!
• Team Player : You'll work alongside other lifeguards and team members to ensure the park is safe and the guests are happy.
• Clear Communicator : You're able to explain rules, instructions, and emergency procedures clearly and effectively to guests.

Responsibilities

• Watch the Waters : Keep a constant, vigilant eye on the pools and aquatic areas, ensuring that every swimmer is safe and enjoying their time.
• Safety First : Follow strict safety guidelines and emergency procedures to prevent accidents and be ready to respond if needed.
• Clean & Clear : Maintain the cleanliness of pools and surrounding areas, ensuring they're always ready for a fun splash!
• Enforce Rules : Know and enforce all safety rules and regulations for each pool and water ride area.
• Rescue & Respond : If a situation arises, you'll perform rescues and provide first aid-using your lifeguard training to keep everyone safe.
• Clear Communication : Communicate safety rules to guests and fellow team members clearly and confidently, ensuring everyone knows how to stay safe and have fun.
• Stay Sharp : Attend weekly in-service training to keep your lifeguarding skills fresh and ready for action.
