Arcadis is looking for a Water Wastewater Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, to join our team in Tampa, Florida! We are looking for a dedicated, creative, and energetic candidate, interested in tackling challenges and developing sustainable solutions to address water, wastewater, or utility sector issues related to quality, scarcity, reuse, management, and resilience. This role provides rapid growth and development opportunities; collaborating with other experienced Water Professionals, you will support, manage, and drive development of projects, interact, and work with clients, and develop your technical and professional capabilities.

Requirements

  • 2 years of water, wastewater, and/or stormwater experience in engineering and consulting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited school.
  • EIT or PE Certification.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Technical writing, presentation skills, and ability to support production of engineering reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about technical challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science or Master of Engineering in related field.

Responsibilities

  • The Water Wastewater Engineer will contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems, pump and lift stations, and treatment plants.
  • This role involves performing engineering evaluations, modeling, and analysis to support project development.
  • The engineer will be responsible for preparing design and construction documents, including reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring all deliverables align with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Additional responsibilities include supporting construction administration, leading or assisting with permitting activities, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • The engineer will also play a key role in producing high-quality design documentation and reports to meet or exceed client expectations as well as Arcadis standards.
  • Travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, planning purposes, or to oversee construction activities, depending on project staffing needs.

  • The salary range for this position is $57,786 - $92,457/year.
  • Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
