About The Position

Massanutten Waterpark maintenance and custodial department is looking for an outgoing, motivated, team player to take the role of Waterpark 2nd shift supervisor. Selected candidate will be responsible for supervising custodian and maintenance staff, testing water and trouble shooting issues. Help with repairs on plumbing and electrical/motors issues. Must have good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, and related programs. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual preferred but not required. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience
  • General maintenance and custodial experience
  • Have working knowledge of cleaning methods, material, and equipment
  • Trains staff and keeps attendance records
  • Applies appropriate disciplinary actions as needed
  • Assist manager with daily assignments and assign duties to team members
  • Monitor staff to ensure effective task completion in a timely manner and departmental goals
  • Serve as management representative to both team members and upper management
  • Good driving record (provided at time of interview)
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, and related programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
