About The Position

CAPTRUST is seeking a Wealth Management Intern in our Indianapolis, IN office that will provide exposure to the inner workings of a wealth management firm. This position will be trained in different aspects of financial planning and investment management. Hands-on learning starts day one in this fast-paced environment. As an intern, you will serve in a support role to multiple client relationship managers who are responsible for maintaining and growing long-term client relationships.
CAPTRUST interns must maintain professional and ethical standards, be well organized, service oriented, and capable of performing under tight deadlines. Obtaining course credit may also be possible, depending on the student’s program approval. Completion of an internship may lead to, but does not guarantee, future full-time employment. Requirements

• Actively pursuing undergraduate/graduate degree from an accredited institution, college, or university
• Our ideal candidate is a junior or senior
• Any school of business majors (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred)
• Significant interest in the working in wealth management
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Possesses excellent listening skills
• Possesses a positive, “can-do” attitude at all times
• Eagerness to learn and increase responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings in a support role including meeting preparation and follow-up activities
• Learn CAPTRUST CRM systems and help with file clean up
• Assist in internal research and client specific research projects
• Support the client services and administrative teams as needed/requested
