Our Newest Opportunity: Summary: The Wealth Management Operations Associate Intern supports the day-to-day operational functions of a fast-paced wealth management organization. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the operational backbone of an RIA, including account onboarding, data integrity, custodial coordination, and process improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, motivated individual interested in financial services, operations, and wealth management. The intern will work closely with the Wealth Management Operations team and gain practical experience in real-world financial operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: During the internship, you will work closely with the Wealth Management Operations teams to provide: Operational Support Assist with new account setup, maintenance requests, and documentation review Support processing of advisor requests across custodial platforms Help track service requests and workflow tasks in CRM/work management systems such as Orion and Salesforce Learn general use and navigation of custodial platforms such as Raymond James, Schwab, and Fidelity Data & Reporting Support data entry and data validation across systems Help monitor case queues and service timelines Process & Project Support Participate in process documentation and SOP review and or updates as needed Assist with special projects related to operational efficiency and digital workflows Learning Opportunities Exposure to custodial platforms and wealth management systems Understanding of RIA operations and regulatory considerations Insight into onboarding, billing, and account lifecycle management Experience working in a professional financial services environment Support cross-functional initiatives with compliance, billing, and, and the integrations team Qualifications, Skills and Requirements: Strong attention to detail and organization Analytical and problem-solving mindset Professional communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office tools Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment Interest in wealth management or financial services Process-oriented and system-minded Self-starter with a collaborative attitude Experience documenting business needs, processes, and requirements Ability to gather and document operational needs and workflows Strong documentation skills with experience creating SOPs and process guide Project Management skills preferred Education, Training and Experience: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, or related fields. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
