About The Position

Wealth Planner will support a Wealth Advisor in managing client relationships. Alongside the advisor, the wealth planner will assist in developing individualized financial plans and recommendations to help clients meet their financial goals. The planner will prepare custodian paperwork for client transactions as well as prepare for client meetings. This colleague will assist in the development of comprehensive wealth management strategies consistent with our clients’ goals and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Series 65 (to be obtained within twelve months of hire date)
  • 2+ years financial services
  • Pursuing or has attained a CFP®
  • Ability to talk with clients independently.
  • Proficiency in Excel required.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, and ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision required.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential and current clients.
  • Tenacious about doing what is right for the client – always.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of e-Money, Salesforce a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist advisory team with onboarding of new clients: customize our standard contract with new client information, obtain all appropriate forms from custodian, and work with each new client to ensure accurate completion. Coordinate submission with the custodian for processing.
  • Answer incoming client calls, transfer or assist as needed.
  • Responsible for cash transfers, wires, data maintenance as needed.
  • Processing account openings, depositing electronic checks, moving money, and processing tasks with custodians.
  • Proactively interact with clients and assist in creating an outstanding client experience.
  • Receive client calls, schedule meetings and resolve questions/issues as needed.
  • Assist with the timely completion and submission of all client related transaction requests.
  • Preparing paperwork and reports for client meetings.
  • Assist advisor in data gathering and building comprehensive financial plans.
  • Ongoing maintenance and quality control of CRM (Salesforce).
  • Develop knowledge of investment account types, products and custodian paperwork required to transact business.
  • Other duties as assigned.
