About The Position

Follow schedule provided by Master Scheduler/Weaving Superintendent and monitor production. Identify all raw materials required for current production requirements. Set up Loom and Creels, start, and adjust the process to bring product into specification. Daily troubleshooting of process(s). Perform daily operational preventative maintenance as detailed by Superintendent. Dispose of all off spec products and raw materials. Ensure process stability and quality standards are met and engage the process as needed to get back on track. Ensure housekeeping standards are met and implement activities to keep to standards. Operator 4+ spaces to meet demand requirements. Shutdown process as needed. Additional requirements may be assigned based on need, job knowledge and ability. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)preferred but not required
  • 2+ Years of Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to properly load, monitor and adjust creels and beams.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of SYSPRO to enter production of each Job and validate inventory levels.
  • Ability to be trained in Weaving Fundamentals.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to Identify and inventory raw materials and finished products.
  • Ability to adapt and change without issue.
  • History of Exceptional Attendance
  • Proficiently use a tape measure to within 1/16” increments.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and bend at the waist up to 8-10 hours per shift with 2-4 hours over time as needed.
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and differentiate raw materials and final products.
  • Continually required to talk or hear.
  • Ability to move and push up to 150 lbs and lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
  • Travel as needed.
