About The Position
Under the lead direction of the Head of Discovery, Access, Resources, and Technology Initiatives (DART) , the Library Technology and Initiatives and Development Strategist, and the general supervision of the Associate Dean, the incumbent administers and supports technology applications, data stores, information resources, and systems. The incumbent works closely with Library departments, Instructional & Information Technology Services (IITS), and vendors to help implement and support technology solutions that fulfill the mission of the Library and the university. Technical duties include working with Library functional areas to develop functionality, resolve issues, prepare documentation, test, evaluate, and configure complex applications. Web Development Specialist (Web Developer II) This is a full-time, temporary, exempt position ending on or before one year from hire date. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
