We are expanding our Strategic Growth organization to shape demand early, influence requirements, and embed Silvus Technologies into future programs of record across the U.S. Department of Defense. Silvus is seeking a Web Interface Software Engineer reporting to the Senior Embedded Web Developer on the Software Engineering team. The successful individual in this role will participate in the development of Silvus’ MANET radios and advanced research projects. This position is based at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles, CA, and is on a hybrid schedule; a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience in JavaScript, HTML, and Python backend development.
  • Experience with mobile friendly web interface development.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in UI test automation.
  • Experience with C programming.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, improve and test Silvus StreamCaster radio’s web interface and network management software.
  • Develop applications running on the Silvus StreamCaster radios.
  • Travel requirement - rare local travel, as required.
