About The Position

TekSynap is hiring a full-time Website Development Specialist to own day-to-day improvements across our public WordPress website, key Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online sites, and digital performance tracking (GA4/SEO). This role blends front-end web execution + content operations + graphic design, absorbing ongoing work historically supported via external consulting SOW (IDDpro-style blended creative/technical support). Requirements

  • 3–7+ years in a web role blending WordPress + front-end + content ops (agency or in-house).
  • Strong skills in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and responsive, cross-browser development.
  • Working experience with SharePoint Online (pages, libraries, permissions).
  • Demonstrated graphic design ability for digital channels (portfolio required).
  • Working knowledge of GA4 and SEO fundamentals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in GovCon/federal environments (process discipline, accuracy, accessibility awareness).
  • Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps), basic PHP, or web performance tooling.
  • Experience improving ATS/careers flows (iCIMS or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Build, update, and optimize TekSynap’s WordPress site pages, templates, navigation, and content components.
  • Maintain site health: plugin/theme updates, performance tuning, accessibility-minded design, troubleshooting.
  • Support SharePoint Online pages/sites and internal communications content
  • Create digital assets: web graphics, icons, banners, diagrams/infographics, campaign visuals (Adobe CC and/or Figma).
  • Implement and manage Google Analytics (GA4) + Tag Manager basics; provide monthly insights and recommendations.
  • Execute foundational SEO (metadata, redirects, sitemap hygiene, content optimization).
  • Partner with HR/Recruiting to support the careers experience and integrations (e.g., iCIMS workflows/content touchpoints).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate technical mission content into clear, usable web experiences
