About The Position
Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic and creative Weekend Activity Coordinator for our BRAND NEW assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex, opening soon! We are located in beautiful Apex just off I-540 at Hwy 64. Calyx is looking to hire NOW a Weekend Activity Coordinator who will be responsible for the implementation of a vibrant, holistic and varied recreational activity program at the community on weekends.
Requirements
- An outgoing warm personality along with a passion to work with seniors
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- A current driver's license in good standing in NC
- Ideally has one year of activity programming experience.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably, has a degree in Recreation Administration or Therapeutic Recreation or is certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Responsibilities
- Implementation of a vibrant, holistic and varied recreational activity program at the community on weekends.
