About The Position
The Hotel on North is a fun, modern, boutique hotel in the heart of Pittsfield. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Part-Time Weekend Maintenance Assistant to help keep our property in top condition. This entry-level role involves handling guest maintenance requests, assisting with ongoing projects, and performing routine repairs.
Requirements
- Some general maintenance or handyman experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use basic tools and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and available to work weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve minor issues.
- Assist with ongoing repairs and maintenance projects as needed.
- Perform routine tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and minor paint touch-ups.
- Conduct property walk-throughs to identify and report any maintenance concerns.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow safety guidelines and hotel standards.
