Requirements
- Previous broadcasting or reporting experience is generally required.
- Proficiency in audio editing and software.
- Excellent on-air delivery and writing skills.
- Deep understanding of the local Butler County market and news.
Responsibilities
- Gathering, writing, recording, and editing local news stories.
- Writing and anchoring weekend newscasts, particularly for WISR 680 AM and WBUT 1050 AM.
- Producing, editing, and packaging audio, including interviews.
- Updating the station's website and utilizing social media platforms.
- Responding to and providing coverage of urgent news situations.
- Operating audio equipment and, if required, producing Sunday morning programs.
