About The Position
SimpleFlying is the leading independent voice for aviation news and insight. Our goal is to provide a one-stop hub for all the important stories on commercial aviation, sharing the news in a simple, accessible way. We’re digital first, and all of our content is free to read and access. SimpleFlying is searching for talented contributors with a passion for creating engaging and informative content on everything related to commercial aviation, including history, airline and airport news, and manufacturing, as well as loyalty, private aviation and military aviation.
Requirements
- Proven news writing experience, preferably in aviation or transportation
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities
- Clear, engaging news writing style
- Knowledge of the aviation industry and current events
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Weekend availability and reliability
