Weekend Nurse (LVN/LPN/RN)
About The Position
WEEKEND NURSE (LVNS, LPNS, AND/OR RNS) NEEDED Pay Rate- $36.00 per hour The primary functions of our Nurse are: Monitoring care plans Wound care Diabetic management Medication management Overall care supervision We are looking for a part-time nurse on the day shift (8:00am-4:30pm) to work Saturday & Sunday. Our communities are pet friendly, residents may have animals in their private apartments and dogs are walked through the building. The nurse may come in contact or the presence of animals. Elders Inn is a licensed 52-suite assisted living community where each day offers a variety of experiences in the company of friends. Elders Inn offers every resident the opportunity to live as independently as possible, accommodating assistive equipment, including wheelchairs, with short distances to dining, activities, and enchanting courtyards. All resident areas are designed and furnished to create easy access that does not sacrifice pleasant amenities for functionality. Waters Edge Lodge is a licensed 101-apartment assisted living community where residents can maintain an independent and active lifestyle. The Lodge offers an extensive list of programs and activities, creating a stimulating social atmosphere where friendships develop and thrive. Nestled in a unique and peaceful setting on the lagoon of Harbor Bay, residents can enjoy the many walking trails in the community or visit one of the many professional services, cafes, shops and major stores at Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center located next door.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in geriatrics
- Proficient communicators
- Proactive
- Reliable
- Current, valid CA nursing license
- Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
- Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
- Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals

- Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & Dept. of Justice
