About The Position

Weekend Resident Care Manager (LPN or RN) Location: Bellingham, Washington Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite Highland Health & Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility with 44-bed skilled, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Care Manager (RN or LPN) to join our dynamic team in skilled nursing! In this role, you will develop, evaluate, and implement healthcare plans while assisting in managing individual medical plans and ensuring the highest level of patient care. You will also serve as a key communicator between families, doctors, providers, and residents. As a leader in our care team, you will mentor and support nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Conduct assessments for new residents/patients. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. Use electronic medical records to document patient care and treatment plans. Communicate patient care updates with physicians, families, and other providers. Implement physician orders and follow up on treatment plans. Provide emotional support and health education to patients and families. Participate in clinical meetings and ensure accurate record-keeping. Facilitate smooth transitions of care between hospital and facility settings. Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies. Perform other related duties as assigned. What You Bring: Current Washington nursing license and degree in nursing from an accredited school. Valid CPR certification. At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or similar healthcare setting. Experience in long-term care preferred (minimum of six months recommended). Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Knowledge of nursing best practices, medical procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Requirements

  • Current Washington nursing license and degree in nursing from an accredited school.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or similar healthcare setting.
  • Experience in long-term care preferred (minimum of six months recommended).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of nursing best practices, medical procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school. RN required.
  • Current RN license.
  • Valid CPR certificate.
  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
  • Must have, as a minimum, one (1) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
